A while ago, we worked with Analisa Murphy who did a scientific study to better understand the effects of non-monogamy (or any kind of open relationship) on relationships and sexual satisfaction. This is now completed, so it was time for an interview to chat about the learnings.

She also explains her personal journey into swinging, from getting married at an early age to leaving the Mormon religion and the impact this has on her life, her kids and her sexuality.

We talk about:

  • The danger of "no sex before marriage" and the damage it can do before discovering polyamory.
  • There are tricks mormons use to go swinger parties without anybody noticing.

During Naughty in Nawlins 2017 (one of the largest swingers events, in New Orleans), misses Puppy and Jon ran into our instructor for the "erotic wrestling" class.   She turned out to very cute, great a giving lapdances and an all-round awesome person.  We sat down and chatted about kink, polyamory, bi-sexuality, penis size, wrestling, stripping (including "pole burn") and porn.

49: Spanking new relationships: The scale from swinging to polyamory

Mister Bill, Jon and SinD first debrief about  Fetish and Fantasy event, then about their various polyamorous and swinging relationships.   Bill does an inventory of his relationships and reviews how they are similar but different.

Jon interviews a brand-new member of the "Dragon's Gate" gang, who at her young age has dived deep into kink and her various turn-ons.

Back home, the newly formed poly gang (SinD, Jon, Night owl) debriefs about the changes in their relationship.

This episode is a bit different from the usual form, as we give our unfiltered feelings an thoughts on the journey throughout the various forms of non-monogamy.

It had been a long week. As much as she loved her life, it was a busy CHALLENGING life. Her two babies, little angelic gifts that they were, took so much time and energy. She loved putting that time in, being a mother brought her great joy but by the end of the week she had to admit that she was exhausted and needed a break. 

On top of that, she had been putting in more hours than usual at work. Her career was another aspect of her life that truly fulfilled her but free time had gotten quite scarce.

The Resort Surprise

The resort was never exactly slow, but as Lisa sat down for a late lunch in the cantina she marked that it wasn't nearly as lively as it was last night.

She scanned the menu that the waiter had left, musing to herself over his tanned skin and athletic build, wondering what Bob would think if she told him she wanted to kiss the waiter!

The lunch choices all looked delightful but she settled on half a sandwich with a house salad. She didn't know exactly how long Bob would be at the conference today and she didn't want to be too full of he wanted to go to dinner.

She normally ate earlier but she had slept in, the sounds of the waves crashing against the shore like a lullaby to her. When she had finally woke, there was a note on the nightstand from Bob. Seems her lovely husband had scheduled her for a pedicure and a massage in the spa. Continue reading →
